The Honorable Vicki Rae Smith currently serves as the Pacolet Municipal Judge.

Municipal court is held at the Pacolet Police Department on the third Wednesday of each month, starting at 9:00 AM. The municipal judge sets the dates and times for jury trials as needed. Court dates are found on citations.

Online payments have a 5% convenience fee.

Payments may be made over the phone by calling (877) 794-1145 and have a 7%  convenience fee.

You may pay for a ticket in person at the Pacolet Town Hall, located at 180 Montgomery Ave. Pacolet, SC 29372, between 9 AM and 5 PM. The office may be closed during lunch hours.

When should I call 9-1-1?

You should call 9-1-1 for life-threatening emergencies, crimes in progress, and other emergencies. If you are ever in doubt, call 9-1-1 and let the telecommunicator determine if you have an emergency.

When should I call the non-emergency number?

You should call the non-emergency number (864-596-2222) to request information, report lost or stolen property, report a parking violation, or speak to an officer on duty about issues that are not time-sensitive. If you are ever in doubt, call 9-1-1 and allow the telecommunicator to determine if it is an emergency.

When should I use the crime tip line?

If you have a tip about a possible crime, call or text 864-384-7006 and leave the information you wish to provide. Include details such as the activity’s date, location, physical identifiers of the person(s), and a description of the vehicle(s) involved. If you want to remain anonymous, you do not have to leave your name or other personal information. Officers will check the phone daily, review the information, and determine if it can be followed up legally.

Spartanburg County Communications / 9-1-1 is the Public Safety Answering Point for law enforcement, fire, rescue, emergency medical, and emergency management services within ALL of Spartanburg County.

The Communications Department provides emergency communication services to ALL citizens and more than eighty (80) public safety agencies throughout Spartanburg County. This includes the Pacolet Police Department and the Pacolet Fire District.

The primary goal of 9-1-1 communications is to provide the most effective emergency communications possible for the citizens, visitors, and public safety agencies of Spartanburg County.
