Fall Decorating & Free Printable Banner

Thanksgiving display and a free fall printable banner.

I am super excited to share with you my fall display and free printable fall banner this morning! I wanted to throw in a nontraditional twist my fall decorating by adding the color turquoise.

Since orange and turquoise are opposite of each other on the color wheel, they naturally go well together.

My mom and step-dad run a glass blowing shop in historic Conway, SC. Every Christmas, I look forward to getting one of their beautiful creations! The blown glass pumpkin with the turquoise stem was the starting point for the color scheme.

Now on to the free stuff! You can print the letters out as either 5x 7″ or 3″ x 5“. The banner below was printed out as the 3″ x 5″ size. I used Picasa and chose the “shrink to fit” option before I printed. The larger size would be the perfect size for a fireplace mantle!

*I’d like to give a special thanks to The Graphics Fairy for sharing the French Acorn Wreath that I used to make my banner. I’d also like to thank Blooming Homestead for sharing her free printable that I used on my galvanized flower bucket. I got the idea for the turquoise painted pumpkins for the mini topiary from Northern Cottage.*

I’ll follow-up on a post on how I made the printed burlap image on the galvanized flower bin.

Be sure to follow me on Facebook! Later this week, I’ll be a guest over at Jen’s adorable blog, City Farmhouse. I’m sharing a house tour and a little about me for her Style House Guest Feature Series. My Facebook fans will be the first to know!
