It feels good to be back to the blog! This past week and a half have been quite eventful. Our oldest son got a new-old car, I got a new blog-worthy camera, and my husband and I attended my 20-year high school reunion.
Also, this past week, I’ve been finishing up a few projects in our youngest two boys’ shared bedroom. At the end of this month, Remodelaholic.com is having a link up party for
children’s bedrooms. What better motivation to get stuff done than a deadline?
Maybe it’s my love for typography or it could be my love of the color blue, but I’ve really been inspired by all the map themed boy’s rooms that I’ve seen on the internet. I already have a large, 69×48″ laminated world map on the wall above Mason’s bed.
I’ve been wanting to experiment with decoupage and maps. Later this week, I’ll show you a couple of projects that I did for the boys’ room. So without giving too much away, I wanted to share with you some fabulous diy-able ideas for using Mod Podge and maps. Here are a few that I’m coveting from Etsy.
So which map + Mod Podge projects did I choose to do for the boy’s bedroom? I’ll give you a hint…it’s none of the above. 🙂
Hmm it seems like your website ate my first comment (it
was super long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I submitted and say,
I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I as well am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to the
whole thing. Do you have any recommendations for first-time blog writers?
I’d certainly appreciate it.
great points altogether, you simply received a emblem new reader.
What would you suggest in regards to your post that you
just made some days ago? Any positive?
I love you post about what you have done with maps. I have started a project using maps.
Hey, gald your back!!!Soooo cool. Thank you for this much needed inspiration. I have actually been eyeing some vintage maps for an art project for the boys bath, this is awesome, just what I needed to see:). I can’t wait to see the room when it is done! Great picture BTW!! Have a good one, Jen
Thanks, Jen! I can’t wait to see what you make for your boy’s bathroom! It’s good hearing from you again! Hope you have a good week! Tricia
